Your Manatee Democratic Party appreciates your contribution. We depend completely on donations to fund our campaigns in support of Democratic candidates and to promote Democratic values in this county. Our officers, precinct captains and volunteers don’t receive pay; rather, they donate themselves. Donations you may have made to the national or state party do not trickle down to us. We run our local campaigns to elect Democratic candidates, help our local Democrats, produce political and other literature, and maintain our office based solely on your generosity as shown by your donations - so thank you very much for this one.

This donation is not deductible on your federal income tax.

 

If you want this donation to be used in support of federal candidates or for our campaign activities when federal candidates are running, you cannot take it from funds of corporations, unions, national banks or government contractors. In addition, you cannot exceed $10,000 annually in contributions to both state and local parties.

 

You must be a U.S. citizen or ”green card” holder and must be over 18 years of age.

 

You cannot make a donation in the name of another.
